Best power station for home in the Philippines (2026)

A “home” power station is bigger than the backpack units. You want 1–2 kWh, a pure sine inverter around 1500–2000W, and LiFePO4 chemistry that does not mind a warm PH utility room.

This is for keeping fridge + lights + internet through a long brownout or the day after a storm. It is not a whole-home transfer switch.

If the fridge is the reason you are buying, size for 8–12 hours of that fridge plus internet. That is why 1kWh is the start, not 256Wh. The chooser walks through the math.

Generator vs station

Gasoline generators are cheaper per kWh if you already own one and can store fuel. They are loud, they cannot sit in a hallway, and they annoy the barangay at 11 p.m. Stations win for condos and night-time outages.

A UPS still sits in front of a desktop PC.

FAQ

Can I wire this into my house panel?

Not as a DIY project. Use extension to specific appliances unless a licensed electrician installs an interlock. Backfeeding a panel can kill a lineman.

How long will a 1kWh station run a fridge?

Often 6–12 hours depending on inverter efficiency, door openings, and whether it is inverter-type. Measure with a plug wattmeter from Shopee.

Should I add solar on day one?

Add it if storms knock you out for a full day. Otherwise buy the station first, panel later.

Bottom line

For a real home backup, start at Delta 2 / Bluetti AC180+. River-class units are for internet, not the refrigerator. Keep a UPS for the PC, and do not expect to run aircon.
